There are lots of applications where the customer needs big white surfaces for calibration or a professional  white reference. Formerly this could only be realized by using Barium Sulfate or an expensive, heavy PTFE plate. To cover all applications, SphereOptics offers also the classic style of full material Targets as well as a reflectance coating on the basis of Barium sulfate.

Alternatively the SphereOptics Team has developed the next generation of large area targets. Our new Zenith Alucoretargets, apply a unique technique, which laminates the diffuser material onto a lightweight sandwich backing (thickness 10/15mm). The significant advantages  are less weight, weather resistance as well as much lower costs. Generally all reflectance values of 5, 20, 50, 90 und 95% and standard sizes of 200x200mm, 500x500mm und 1000mmx1000mm are available from stock. Customized products are also available with some surcharges. All standard sizes will be delivered in a light, rugged aluminum case, to be better protected and they can clean and easily be transported to all sites.

To ease the recalibration for our customers, we are including small, calibrated reference targets for target sizes of 500mm x 500mm und 1000mm x 1000mm, which can be returned after expiry of the recommended date for recalibration.
